Find It Here
Churches Asked to Update Online Profiles for ‘Find it Here’ LOUISVILLE – All Kentucky Baptist churches are being encouraged to update their church profiles on www.sbc.net as part of the Kentucky Baptist Convention’s “Find it Here” evangelistic campaign next spring. During the campaign, Kentucky Baptists will deliver a gospel brochure to up to 1.5 million households across the commonwealth. Recipients who desire to know more will be directed to www.findithere.com, where they can also search for a Southern Baptist church near them. “It’s important for each church to update their profiles so visitors will have the correct information and location for the church,” said Ross Bauscher, Evangelism Growth Team leader for the KBC. “We want to make it as easy as possible for those in our communities to learn more about the gospel message.” To check the accuracy of a church listing and submit updates, an authorized church leader or staff member should go to http://churchsearch.net and click on the link to edit the church’s listing near the bottom of the page. Identification using the seven digit SBC ID number is required. The number is the same number used for the Annual Church Profile. Individuals who need assistance in updating their information should contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . The KBC is partnering with the North American Mission Board and Baptist associations to conduct the “Find it Here” campaign. Kentucky Baptist congregations are encouraged to hand deliver a printed Gospel presentation to every Kentucky household between March 6 and March 21. The brochure has a Gospel message that directs readers to the FinditHere.com website and a return card for ordering a free book. At the same time, the Kentucky portion of a national media campaign will be blanketing the state. The Kentucky Baptist Convention is a cooperative missions and ministry organization made up of nearly 2,400 autonomous Baptist churches in Kentucky. A variety of state and worldwide ministries are coordinated through its administrative offices in Louisville, Ky. including: missions work, disaster relief, ministry training and support, church development, evangelism and more.  For more information, visit www.kybaptist.org.
